1. Urinating a Lot
On average, people urinate 4 to 7 times in 24 hours. With diabetes, this frequency is significantly increased and can lead to dehydration and the disruption of daily activities. An early symptom of diabetes is frequent urination at night. In fact, this inconvenience is responsible for diagnoses of pre-diabetes and diabetes. Many people go to the doctor because they are waking up and having to use the bathroom.
Another symptom that happens because of frequent urination is dry mouth and itchy skin.
